About Murray’s Dog Treats

Small-batch dog treats, baked on Vancouver Island with real ingredients and a whole lot of love.

Murray’s Dog Treats began with one peanut-butter-loving coonhound, a love of baking, and a simple belief: our dogs deserve treats made with ingredients we actually recognise.

Meet Cory

Murray’s Dog Treats is the creative work of Cory, a Vancouver Island dog lover with a lifelong love of cooking, baking, and making things by hand.

What started in her kitchen has grown into a small-batch treat business built around care, quality, and community. Cory spends time researching ingredients, refining recipes, and connecting with local farmers, butchers, and Canadian suppliers to create treats she feels proud to share.

For Cory, this is about more than filling a treat bag. It is about making something honest, supporting local people, and meeting fellow dog lovers who care about what they give their pups.

Every batch is made with the same simple question in mind:

“Would I feel good giving this to Murray?”

Meet Murray

Murray is the peanut-butter-loving coonhound who started it all.

He was Cory’s first dog and quickly became the heart of the home — full of personality, big feelings, a big bark, and a very serious interest in anything coming out of the kitchen.

When Cory began baking treats for him, Murray made his opinion clear: more crunch, more flavour, and preferably more samples.

Today, he remains the inspiration behind every batch. His job is simple but important — reminding us that every treat should be made with real ingredients, proper care, and enough goodness to earn a happy tail wag.

Original taste tester. Professional crumb finder. Very good boy.
